Bethany Childcare offers care on days that school is in session for students according to the Beaverton School District Calendar. On days that school is not in session, Bethany Childcare does not have access to the buildings.

We’re a play-based program that provides an engaging, safe space for students to develop the positive social skills needed for success on the playground, in school, and in the neighborhood.
Daily Program
Our daily program is structured and provides students choice and opportunities to self-manage. Our setup is consistent and predictable for students while providing a supply of developmentally appropriate manipulatives, puzzles, board/card games daily. Depending on which friends are in attendance or the mood of the student, they can choose which activity they prefer. We utilize both the school playground and gymnasium for recess and group games.
Social Interaction
We promote an inclusive community that fosters connection and friendship. Our group dynamic includes all students kindergarten through 5th grade. This provides the opportunity for older students, many of which have been in the program for years, to set an example and model behavior for younger students. Younger students benefit by developing new contacts and confidence.
